Weddings & HoneymoonsAnguilla is made for romance and offers everything you need for a perfect wedding, whether you choose an historic church, the water's edge or a secluded offshore cay, a sailboat, the courthouse or a tropical garden. If needed, we can get you a wedding consultant that will guide you along the way, or you may prefer to do it yourself. Getting married in Anguilla is very simple. One can choose to get married either at the Court House or on any one of our 35 beautiful beaches or on a Catamaran. La Sirena Hotel’s friendly staff will be happy to assist you with all of your Wedding plans. Getting Married at the Court HouseFor persons not living in Anguilla, or stayed here less than 15 days, a fee of $284.00 US must be paid to obtain a License from the Magistrate’s Court at the Court House in the Valley. The Magistrate’s Court is open from 10 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday. If you were married before arriving in Anguilla, and want to re-marry or renew your vows in Anguilla, you only need to contact the Minister of Religion and arrange your wedding plans. If one or both persons were divorced, Divorce Certificates and Passports must be submitted to the Court Clerk when obtaining the License at least 1 or 2 days before the wedding date. Getting Married by a Religious OfficialIf you prefer to be married in a church, you should see the Minister and set up time and dates, etc. The Minister charges a fee of $250.00 US for the ceremony. If you would like to have Organ music and a Sexton for the ceremony, there is an additional fee of $25.00 US for the organist and $15.00 US for the Sexton. A Video of the ceremony can be arranged by the Minister. General InformationThe Minister will marry couples wherever they desire to have their vows exchanged (on the beach, at a hotel, etc.) while a Judge only provides this service in the Court House. The License fee must be paid when the wedding is conducted by a Minister or other Religious Official. Couples will need to provide:
